Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, maintaining consistency in presentation and quality.
  • Ensure food safety regulations are strictly followed, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock rotation efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Support serving staff during busy periods to ensure timely delivery of food to guests.

Experience

  • Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment.
  • Extensive food production experience across diverse cuisines.
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
  • Solid background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
  • Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary standards.
