Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and high standards of service.
  • Lead and motivate team members, including serving staff, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive working environment.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency in line with company standards.
  • Manage staff scheduling, training programmes, and performance appraisals to optimise team productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and food production standards across all departments.
  • Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory control effectively.
  • Organise promotional events or special menus to enhance the restaurant’s reputation and attract new customers.
  • Monitor financial performance, including sales figures and operational costs, to support business growth.

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to lead diverse groups effectively.
  • Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols.
  • Competence in food production processes and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.
  • Good understanding of hospitality standards and customer service excellence.
  • Familiarity with barista skills or bar management is advantageous.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing food safety standards and operational procedures.
